Accreditation Update

Commonwealth Mandatory Accreditation

The Department of Health and Ageing latest information on Stage 1 Mandatory Accreditation (Diagnostic Imaging: Introducing an accreditation scheme for practices providing diagnostic imaging services.) can be found on their website. Follow link - News Update – as at 19 May 2008.

All practices providing diagnostic imaging services must register with an approved accreditor before 30 Jun 2008. Failing to register before this time will result in the service not being eligible for Medicare funded diagnostic services from 1 July 2008.
